On August 24, 2023, the Ph.D. defense meeting of the Systems Microbiology Engineering Research Group was held in Energy Building 111. Prof. Zhang Yuzhong from Ocean University of China was the chairman of the doctoral defense committee. Prof. Dai Peigang from Tobacco Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Prof. Wang Jijian from China University of Petroleum (East China), Prof. Liu Huaiwei from Shandong University, and Prof. Li Chaoxu, Prof. Yao Lishan and Prof. Nian Rui from Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Processes, Chinese Academy of Sciences, were the members of the doctoral defense committee. Chen Guoqiang gave a detailed report on his thesis work, answered the questions and listened to the suggestions of the doctoral defense committee. After discussion and secret ballot, the doctoral defense committee unanimously agreed to pass the doctoral defense of Chen Guoqiang's dissertation and recommended that he was awarded the doctorate degree, and we would like to extend our warmest congratulations to him!
