On November 19, 2021, the Ph.D. doctoral defense meeting of the Systems Microbiology Engineering Research Group was held in Energy Building 111. Prof. Gao Chao of Shandong University was the chairman of the defense committee, and Prof. Liu Huaiwei of Shandong University, as well as Prof. Cui Qiu, Prof. Yao Lishan, Prof. Cong Zhiqi, Prof. Fu Chunxiang, and Prof. Nian Rui of Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Bioprocess Technology (QIBEBT), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), were the members of the doctoral defense committee. Wang Fan gave a detailed report on her thesis work, answered the questions and listened to the suggestions of the doctoral defense committee. After discussion and secret ballot, the doctoral defense committee unanimously agreed to pass the doctoral defense of Wang Fan's dissertation and recommended that she be awarded the doctorate degree, and we would like to extend our warmest congratulations to her!
